Halfway Home

Long-term rehabilitation

At Balasaranya Rehab we offer our patients both Long-term rehabilitation and Halfway Home programs(i.e. you can go home and complete the rest of the treatment) according to their assessment and behaviour.

Who is Halfway Home For?

Candidates for Halfway Home are sometimes those who need intensive care but are reasonably likely to refrain from drinking outside of a restricted setting or be an ideal destination for people who have just left a more restrictive hospital or residential treatment setting and remain at a relatively high risk of relapse.

However, evaluating the ideal level of care for addiction treatment is not always so straightforward, as several dimensions need to be assessed for each individual and their unique needs to make this determination.

Here we combine individual, group, and family therapy and medication in rehabilitation. Many partial hospitalization programs can provide treatment during evening or weekend hours to accommodate people who need to work during the day.

The treatment components of Halfway Home programs also aid the individuals through transitioning into less intensive outpatient services while encouraging self-reliance and self-help through sessions once they are out of hospitalization.
